Prayer's for Bobby

MOVIE SPOILER.

I recently watched the film 'Prayer's for Bobby' when i decided to watch all of 'online-movies' top rated movies, this was number one. Being a true story made it even sadder then it was, the movie is based on a twenty year old gay guy who struggles to tell his Christian family of this, as the Bible says this is 'unnatural'. The Mother in this seems very passionate of how 'unnatural' this is, going to all extremes to ensure he goes down the 'right path'. She does this by setting him up with women to date with and talking to a psychiatrist (i believe). However, when she'd set him up with a 'woman' they go to a club with his brother also, although as he'd already told his brother, who was the one to blurt it out to their parents, had also blurted it out to his friends, who all insulted him calling him a 'faggot'. As the story progresses Bobby gets himself a boyfriend, although the pressure soon starts to build and he has flashbacks of all of the drama that has happened in the past weeks. Heading to a motorway bridge he remembers how ashamed his mother was of him and slowly falls to his death, hitting a truck. The story ends as the mother helps to the gay community and soon realises that gay guys are as normal as anyone else, she contributes to all the protests to the gay campaigns also.
Throughout the whole movie Bobby Griffith's himself is very guilty over the pain he has caused his mother and this contributes to his death. The final quote before he falls to his death was from his mother saying 'I will not have a gay son'.
This is an extremely moving story, and recommend it to everyone, even though this may've been a movie spoiler im sure without reading this thee would have been no toher way to persuade you to watch this.

Here's a link for anyone, if any, I've persuaded to watch it: http://www.zshare.net/video/5475995691ed1993/

NB: Sorry if there are any mistakes, own mistakes, as I have only watched the movie once, please comment any, if you could.
Thank - you for spending time to read this.

R.I.P Bobby Griffith's.
